Hey everyone,
Quick question for those who’ve set up towing on their 2002 - 2006 T1N Sprinters:
I’ve already installed a Class IV (Type 4) hitch, and now I’m looking to wire up a 7-pin trailer connector.
Does the T1N have any factory towing wiring or trailer harness provisions tucked away somewhere? Or am I starting completely from scratch and running all the wiring myself, brake controller, lights, power, ground, the works?
Would love to know:
- If there’s a factory trailer plug or connector I can tap into
- If any models/years came pre-wired
- Where folks usually route the wiring (especially the brake controller wire to the front)
- Any tips or diagrams you found helpful
